Congratulation Chellappa !

Our Ramalingam Chellappa has been selected as a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science !

"Triple A-S" (AAAS), is an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science around the world by serving as an educator, leader, spokesperson and professional association. In addition to organizing membership activities, AAAS publishes the journal Science, as well as many scientific newsletters, books and reports, and spearheads programs that raise the bar of understanding for science worldwide.

In November 2011, the AAAS Council elected 539 members as Fellows of AAAS. These individuals will be recognized for their contributions to science and technology at the Fellows Forum to be held on 18 February 2012 during the AAAS Annual Meeting in Vancouver, Canada. The new Fellows will receive a certificate and a blue and gold rosette as a symbol of their distinguished accomplishments. Presented by section affiliation, they are:

For and on behalf our batch mates I offer seasons greetings for Happy Deepavali and coming festival of Merry Christmas & Oh! God, Happy new year 2012.

 

Many of us have been yearning to have a get together since July meet, and doing nothing about it And here our good friend Ramanathan has waken us up from slumber, with BREAKING NEWS fit enough to assemble for get together immediately.

 

It is said that joy multiplies manifolds—when shared. Now it is time for us share the news of Joy.

 

Our friend Ramanathan has become “Additional member /Civil engineering/ Rail board/ Ministry of railways /GOI” and will be posted at New Delhi.

 

As a token of love to Ramanathan and his family, it is proposed to host a felicitation party and honour him.

This is equivalent to GM post.

 

All the CEG75IANS with their families join together and we wish him the best of everything in his elevated assignment and for continued health and prosperity.
